Together we promote a good old age.
The Finnish Association for the Welfare of Older Adults works with older people by involving them and listening to their voices, while developing evidence-based models of practice.

Member organisations provide, among other things, housing services, care, nursing, rehabilitation, and day activities, and they also maintain a significant number of rental apartments for older people.
Members also organise a wide range of group, recreational, and volunteering activities, offering opportunities for participation and meaningful engagement. In addition, their work includes counselling, training, development activities, and advocacy.
As a member, you contribute to building a good old age, network with other actors in the field, and gain access to the latest knowledge and best practices. The Association offers its members active advocacy, support, and opportunities to share experiences with other member organisations.
Members receive up-to-date information, guidance and counselling, as well as opportunities for networking, exchanging experiences, and effective cooperation. We organise a wide variety of training courses.
