The Finnish Association for the Welfare of Older Adults – Centralförbundet för de gamlas väl ry is the largest nationwide organization in the field of ageing and eldercare in Finland. The association engages in ageing policy advocacy and represents the interests of its approximately 300 member organizations, with the aim of promoting the wellbeing, functional capacity, and social security of older people, as well as supporting anticipatory planning for ageing.
The association actively influences matters concerning older adults by participating in legislative processes, providing statements, and working in cooperation with authorities, organizations, and decision-makers.
We are a nonpartisan association, independent of any political or religious groups.
