Vahvike.fi is an open resource bank maintained by the Finnish Association for the Welfare of Older Adults to strengthen the wellbeing of older people. It offers a wide range of materials for group activities and meaningful everyday life.
Vahvike includes activity ideas and project results: reminiscence materials, cognitive exercise resources, an image bank, seasonal materials, card sets that stimulate interaction, and printable instructions on various topics.

When there’s a moment for something different alongside care work, you can pick a seasonal activity idea or discussion topic from Vahvike’s Seasons section. From the image bank, you can choose suitable pictures as a basis for conversation – or simply for viewing and enjoyment.
